Subject: Re: A new banjo

Mickey, thanks for getting back so soon-- Where are you folks located? I am assuming you'd sell me a banjo at some point, and it might be a good idea when that time comes to visit personally.

Mike,

We're located in the wondrous mountains of Ruidoso, New Mexico...it's the southern point of the Rocky Mountains...We're easy to find on the map: located between Alamogordo and Roswell. It's a great place to visit...it's considered a tourist recreation area...skiing and horse racing...with tons of National Forest acreage.

Mickey
Wanted to let you know that all is well with the Guild F 45CE electronics.
You were exactly right-- all it needed was a battery. I sincerely apologize for being ignorant.
Guitar sounds fabulous. Consider everything a done deal.
Am looking forward to meeting you when we come to New Mexico (either
Christmas or the early Spring). What is it like at Christmas time around your
area (weather, activities, festivals, any road or access problems, etc)? Is
that a good time of the year to come, or are we better off waiting until
March/April?
Thanks again for your kind assistance, and for putting up with my stupidity
re the battery.
Best regards
John Barrett

Hi John,

Thanks for the positive update...It's nothing short of beautiful here around Christmas time...we're located in a ski resort area up in the tall pines of the Southern Rockies...

Access is great...they keep the major roads completely clear...Please come on up at your earliest convenience...whether in the Spring or Winter, you'll find plenty to do...this is a "hot", but literally cool, vacation spot! I'm grateful I get to live here year around!

By the way, where is Ruidoso N.M.? I live in
Utah and I am wondering how long it would take to drive there.

Thanks,

Ryan Dearing

We're located in Ruidoso, New Mexico...this is between Alamogordo and Roswell. We have a 2800sq ft showroom dedicated to acoustic music and acoustic tools...please come on down and pay us a visit. From Utah, you're probably looking at a 6+ hour drive.

Let me know if you have any further questions or if I can assist you with anything else...
