Greetings from FOTW! Yes, we're folk of the wood! If we had our choice, we'd prefer to listen to the gurgling brook, while sitting on a rock in a deep black forest, playing an acoustic instrument ... the one and only way to "harmonize" with nature!
As an Acoustic Retailer Cooperative, we do our best to offer a full support system for all acoustic artists.
Folk of the Wood is now a publishing house with a focus on Acoustic Music Instructional Material. We would like to thank the many years of support offered by our patrons since 1998. Folk of the Wood has been in transition, with new ownership, since September of 2008. The current site is being reassembled to continue to include Free Online Acoustic Music Lessons, Video Samplers and an extensive FAQ database covering all types of acoustic instruments. Until further notice, FOTW will no longer be carrying music instruments ... with the hopes of being better able to concentrate on music education, FOTW will be more comprehensive in this one area of endeavor.
